The piano concerto Nr. 1 is called “IL CARNEVALE DI COLONIA”. It is an hommage to the Cologne Carnival, full of witted winks and hidden allusions. Classical and modern, sophisticated and entertaining at the same time, the concerto is meant for a broad audience.

It consists of 3 movements without a pause and its duration is ca.27 min. The orchestra set is as follows: double winds, timp, perc, strings 12-10-8-8-6.
